Stomach ache and 40 Ave

I've been having a bad stomach ache for most of the week since Monday, which is why there has been delay with a number of major blog posts, like the Sustainable Safety series, and a couple other topics I wanted to go into detail. I forgot to publish a blog post I wrote on Sunday, so I officially launched it yesterday.

But now I am feeling quite a bit better, maybe in a few hours the ache will completely go away, and if all goes well, my favourite food time will be here again shortly (fish and chips).

Tomorrow, Saturday March 18, the City of Edmonton is holding a consultation with the public about 40 Ave and a bike route on it. I am hoping that I can make it. There are two presentations, one at 1:30 PM and another at 3 PM. I am hoping that I can convince at least some readers of my blog if they live in Edmonton to come and contribute.

I am hoping I can convince the city designers and some of the people there to adopt the Dutch standard for what 50 km/h distributor roads should look like; They should look like this:,6.5497577,3a,82.6y,94.68h,84.95t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sRRZzEKPyasdROtt3hUoyVA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en. Suitable for even these children riding alone in the dark at midnight (no midnight sun for us) with no helmet or high viz jacket:, this person in a mobility scooter:, and if you want to go faster, then that's perfectly fine on this: or even this:
